Did You Know:

• The Church History section of the gospel library there are so many great things you can FIND. One really fun thing is if you click on “global histories” you can find stories from countries all over the world. You could look up stories from where your ancestors originated or maybe where you or a family member served a mission.  Under “Church History” you can also find all of the Saints volumes, and you can even search church history by topics. The Church History section is FULL of goodness. We hope you will check it out and share what you have learned on our stake fb group. 

Thank You: 

• To all that have signed up to help out with the Heat Relief we are hosting at the Cullumber Building for five weeks this summer. Things are going so great because or our wonderful members and friends that are donating, volunteering and showing up.  We appreciate you! 

Upcoming Service Opportunities:

• WATER DRIVE: We are excited for the opportunity to join the Gilbert Community and St. Vincent de Paul for a summer water drive. Click HERE for more details, drop off locations and how to donate online. This would be great to get kids and youth involved in earning a few dollars to purchase a case of water bottles and give them an opportunity to make a difference.
• ORCHARDS:  A giant thank you to so many that have “adopted” a resident at the Orchards to show some extra love to them on their happy birthday.  We have some openings this summer.  It’s super easy and they love having someone from the community stop by with a birthday surprise.  Click HERE to sign up.

• Stake Conference is June 1 & 2nd.  Saturday: Leadership Session 4:30pm & Adult Session at 7pm. Sunday: Stake Conference General Session at 10am. Those congregations at Stake Center: Cullumber, Freestone Park, Gilbert 2^nd, Gilbert 11^th, Mesquite, & Palo Verde. Val Vista Building: Val Vista. Cullumber Building: Silver Creek. • En la sección de Historia de la Iglesia de la biblioteca del evangelio hay tantas cosas maravillosas que puedes ENCONTRAR. Algo realmente divertido es que si haces clic en “historias globales” puedes encontrar historias de países de todo el mundo. Podrías buscar historias de dónde se originaron tus antepasados ​​o tal vez de dónde tú o un miembro de tu familia sirvieron en una misión.  En “Historia de la Iglesia” también puede encontrar todos los volúmenes de los Santos e incluso puede buscar la historia de la Iglesia por temas.
