Did You Know:

• Our goal is to have SOMEthing for EVERYone. As you look at the calendar of events below that are happening in January- it might overwhelm you. There is a lot going on, and that is how we like it.  However, we don’t ever want you to feel that you must attend or participate in everything.  We are in different stages of life with different interests.  If you like pickleball, we hope you will grab a friend and come play.  If you are an empty nester, we hope that you will invite a neighbor and attend our trivia night.  If you have a free hour on Saturday morning the 13^th, we hope that you will join us for a service project.  Maybe one of your goals for the new year is to do more family history.  Join us on the first Thursday of every month and we can help you achieve that goal. And if nothing works for you this month, that is ok too.  Please know that we love our members and community and hope to find ways that we can gather to build relationships, make new friends, increase learning, have fun, reach out to those in need, and work each day to become more like Him. Happy New Year from your Stake Communication Committee. 
• Starting this year we will have a Prepare event for you at home. It will be placed on the last Monday of the month as a prepare focus opportunity for that month. This month it is a Preparedness Inventory.

Thank You: 

• To all that participated in the Drive-thru Nativity.  What a wonderful gift to the community the last four years.  We are so blessed to have shared the message of Jesus Christ with thousands.  Thanks for giving of your time and talent. 

Reminder: 

• You can submit names for the Temple Prayer Roll online.  From the churches website click on “resources” and scroll down to “Temple Prayer Roll.” From Member Tools app click on “more” then “temples” then “prayer roll.”  The names will stay on the prayer roll for two weeks.
• Gilbert Stake Youth Conference February 2-3, 2024. See 2024 Stake Youth Conference Event to register for T-Shirt, download Permission & Medical Form and T-Shirt Design Contest Submission.
• Women’s Learn of Christ starts up again on January 3rd. See Activity Events.

Sabías:

• Nuestro objetivo es tener ALGO para TODOS. Al mirar el calendario de eventos a continuación que tendrán lugar en enero, podría abrumarlo. Están sucediendo muchas cosas y así es como nos gusta. Sin embargo, nunca queremos que sienta que debe asistir o participar en todo. Estamos en diferentes etapas de la vida con diferentes intereses. Si te gusta el pickleball, esperamos que busques a un amigo y vengas a jugar. Si tiene el nido vacío, esperamos que invite a un vecino y asista a nuestra noche de trivia. Si tienes una hora libre el sábado 13 por la mañana, esperamos que te unas a nosotros en un proyecto de servicio. Quizás una de tus metas para el nuevo año sea hacer más historia familiar. Únase a nosotros el primer jueves de cada mes y podremos ayudarle a lograr ese objetivo. Y si nada te funciona este mes, también está bien. Tenga en cuenta que amamos a nuestros miembros y a nuestra comunidad y esperamos encontrar formas en las que podamos reunirnos para construir relaciones, hacer nuevos amigos, aumentar el aprendizaje, divertirnos, ayudar a los necesitados y trabajar cada día para parecernos más a Él. Feliz Año Nuevo de parte de su Comité de Comunicación de Estaca.
• A partir de este año tendremos un evento Prepárate para ti en casa. Se colocará el último lunes del mes como una oportunidad de preparación y enfoque para ese mes. Este mes es un Inventario de Preparación.

Gracias:

• A todos los que participaron en el Drive-thru Nativity. Qué maravilloso regalo para la comunidad los últimos cuatro años. Tenemos la gran bendición de haber compartido el mensaje de Jesucristo con miles de personas. Gracias por darnos tu tiempo y talento.

Recordatorio:

• Puede enviar nombres para la lista de oración del templo en línea. Desde el sitio web de la iglesia, haga clic en “recursos” y desplácese hacia abajo hasta “Lista de oración del templo”. Desde la aplicación Member Tools, haga clic en “más”, luego en “templos” y luego en “rollo de oración”. Los nombres permanecerán en la lista de oración durante dos semanas.
• Conferencia de Jóvenes de la Estaca Gilbert del 2 al 3 de febrero de 2024. Consulte el evento de la Conferencia de Jóvenes de la Estaca 2024 para registrarse para la camiseta, descargar el formulario médico y de permiso y la presentación del concurso de diseño de camisetas.
