Documentary Viewing: “Building Bridges of Faith: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the NAACP in Ghana.”

The Phoenix East Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in partnership with the African American Outreach Committee and the NAACP, will host a special event on Sunday, August 3, at 6:00 p.m. at the Tempe Institute of Religion (1000 S McAllister Ave.)
The evening will feature a screening of the new documentary, “Building Bridges of Faith: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the NAACP in Ghana.” The film explores the growing relationship between the Church and the NAACP, highlighting collaborative efforts in Ghana focused on education, self-reliance, and community development.
All community members are welcome to attend this event, which aims to foster understanding, connection, and shared purpose.
