SUMMARY:Thanksgiving Food Drive for Friends of the Needy Food Bank
DESCRIPTION:The weekend of November 16th and 17th\, St. Anne Friends of the Needy and the Knights of Columbus will be partnering together to collect whole turkeys (any size) and ALL canned goods at our facility. \nOur goal is to distribute 500 whole turkeys to make this thanksgiving special for those families in crisis in our community. In addition to the turkey\, every family that comes to our facility during our distribution will receive a large food box with fresh produce\, meats\, dairy and a bag of non-perishable goods. Please see our flyer above for more details on the items we need. \nIf you’d prefer to donate online\, please click here and select the “Friends of the Needy” fund. DESCRIPTION:Friends of the Needy is a local food bank here in Gilbert that serves the community. We are in need of 2 volunteers the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month to help fill orders\, organize food\, or other tasks that we might need help with at that time. SORRY but we are not able to take more than 2 per day\, we are a small facility.  PLEASE MAKE SURE you sign up here on JustServe and DO NOT JUST SHOW UP- YOU MUST SIGN UP. This is greatly appreciated so that we can plan for our volunteers. \nThere is no age limit for our volunteers. However\, please do not drop off your kids and run 🙂  If you are bringing kids\, please plan to stay and work with them. \n  \nFriends of the Needy es un banco de alimentos local aquí en Gilbert que sirve a la comunidad. Necesitamos 2 voluntarios el primer y tercer martes de cada mes para ayudar a completar pedidos\, organizar alimentos u otras tareas con las que podamos necesitar ayuda en ese momento.
