DESCRIPTION:All high school age youth and their parents are invited to attend this area-wide devotional focused on the importance of education for Latter-day Saints. This devotional will explore how to involve the Lord in learning and highlight various educational opportunities provided by the Church. Messages will be shared by: \nElder Kevin R. Duncan\, General Authority Seventy\, Presidency of the Seventy\nElder Jose L. Alonso\, General Authority Seventy\, US Southwest Area President\nElder Clark G. Gilbert\, General Authority Seventy\, Commissioner of the Church Education System\nPresident C. Shane Reese\, BYU President\, and Wendy Reese\nPresident Alvin F. Meredith III\, BYU-Idaho President\, and Jennifer Meredith \nAs taught in the Doctrine and Covenants\, “The glory of God is intelligence” (D&C 93:36)\, and those who gain knowledge through diligence and obedience in this life will be blessed in the life to come (D&C 130:19).
