DESCRIPTION:The Gilbert Stake will not be having a preparedness fair in 2025. We are excited to announce our stake is partnering with the surrounding stakes in Gilbert for a much larger fair in the first quarter of 2026. This is in the very beginning of the planning stages\, so stay tuned for more information throughout the year. \nTime to plant \nHow’s your garden coming? March is a good time to plant seeds or plants. For information on what and when to plant\, visit this University of Arizona website: \nVegetable Planting Calendar for Maricopa County (arizona.edu) \nAnother thing you might want to consider as you plant is what plants compliment other plants. These are referred to as “companion plants.” Attached is a list of some vegetables and what other herbs\, vegetables and flowers grow well with them and why. This is not a complete list\, so check it out online for more information.
