SUMMARY:2024 Jesus the Christ Mesa Easter Pageant - Pastorela de Pascua de Jesús el Cristo Mesa
DESCRIPTION:The Mesa Easter Pageant\, “Jesus the Christ\,” is a 70-minute outdoor musical dramatization that highlights the powerful and poignant moments of the life of Jesus Christ – from His humble birth to His glorious resurrection – as found in the New Testament. This free musical dramatization of “Jesus the Christ” will be presented during the two weeks before Easter. The first week is Wednesday through Saturday\, March 20-23. The second week is Tuesday through Saturday (Easter eve)\, March 26-30. \nCome early to sit on some of the 9\,500 chairs provided. Attendees are also encouraged to attend during the first week of performances to avoid the generally larger crowds closer to Easter weekend. Each night’s show begins at 8 p.m. The outdoor area is located on the north lawn of the Mesa Arizona Temple\, 101 S. LeSueur in downtown Mesa. Please follow these guidelines for saving seats: \n\nA PERSON MUST BE PRESENT TO SAVE SEATS.\nA PERSON SHOULD NOT SAVE MORE THAN 4 SEATS.\nSEATS MAY NOT BE SAVED AFTER 7:30 PM.\nUNATTENDED ITEMS WILL BE REMOVED (AND TAKEN TO THE VISITORS’ CENTER).\n\nAttendees are encouraged to use Valley Metro Light Rail\, which has a stop at Mesa Drive/Main Street\, within a short walking distance of the venue. 400 headsets will be available at each performance to provide live Spanish translation. DESCRIPTION:Come play pickleball! It’s the fastest growing sport in the US and you don’t want to be left behind.  We will be playing at the Stake Center on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month in the morning and the afternoon.  There will be three courts-  one for beginners\, intermediate and advanced.  The first 30 minutes on the beginners court will be instruction– so even if you don’t know how to play\, COME and learn. And invite your neighbors.  Sorry\, but no children allowed.  Bring a paddle (we will have a few extra so come if you don’t have one) and some water. \n¡Ven a jugar pickleball! Es el deporte de más rápido crecimiento en los EE. UU. y no querrás quedarte atrás. Estaremos jugando en el Centro de Estaca el segundo y cuarto jueves de cada mes por la mañana y por la tarde. Habrá tres canchas\, una para principiantes\, intermedia y avanzada. These courses are open to any youth or young adults who live anywhere in the North America Southwest area and will cater specifically to students with adapted needs. \nIndividuals or parents can register for the class using THIS LINK.
